These terms govern your use of OnestopApprove, operated by Squirrelhog Pty Ltd (ABN 83 659 968 439) ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms. If you are agreeing on behalf of a firm, you confirm you are authorised to do so.
The service
OnestopApprove helps firms request, capture and export client authorisations, for Payday Super and other sign-offs. We provide the tools to record an approval and its audit trail; we do not provide the approval itself, nor legal, tax or financial advice.
Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for activity under your account. Identity and authentication are handled by our provider (Clerk). You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.
Your responsibilities
- You are responsible for the accuracy and lawfulness of the content you upload and the requests you send, including any payroll or personal information they contain.
- You must have a proper basis to upload information about employees or third parties, and to send a request to an approver.
- You remain responsible for your own compliance obligations (including under the Tax Agent Services Act 2009, ATO requirements and the Australian Privacy Principles). OnestopApprove supports those obligations but does not discharge them for you.
- You must not misuse the service, attempt to breach its security, or use it to send unlawful, infringing or misleading content.
Declarations and approvals
An approval recorded through OnestopApprove is intended to function as an electronic declaration under the Electronic Transactions Act 1999. You are responsible for ensuring the wording and use of a declaration is appropriate for your circumstances. We provide the mechanism and the evidentiary record; the legal effect of any given approval depends on how you use it.
Subscriptions and billing
OnestopApprove is offered on a subscription basis at the price shown on our pricing page (currently $34.99 per year, AUD), with a 14-day free trial, and is included for firms with an active Onestop CPE or QMS subscription. Mobile subscriptions are billed through the relevant app store under its terms; web subscriptions are billed by card. Subscriptions renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Availability
We aim to keep the service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may update, suspend or discontinue features. Your approval records and exports remain available to you while your account is active.
Intellectual property
We own the OnestopApprove software, brand and content. You retain ownership of the content you upload. You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process and deliver that content to operate the service.
Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and limit our liability for any loss arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded; where our liability cannot be excluded, it is limited to resupplying the service or the cost of doing so.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these terms or use the service unlawfully. On termination, retention of approval records follows our privacy policy.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you submit to the courts of that jurisdiction.
